Im planning on taking a plan trip to oregon with my 6month old daughter for a week or two?

do i have 2 pay 4 her own seat on the plane or can i stick her in her baby sling? what all do i need for the plane ride for her? does her diaper bag count as my carry on or hers? can you please tell me anything else that would be useful?

You won’t have to pay for your daughter unless you want her ot have her own seat. You are allowed to place her in a sling after take off if you like, but they prefer the baby either in a carseat or your arms. I would bring of course, diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, a pacifier if she uses one, and a couple of bottles. you are allowed to bring a few bottles of formula or breast milk as long as she is flying on the plane with you. I have always managed to bring a purse for myself and a diaper bag for my son. A light blanket in case the plane gets chilly is another thing I suggest. If she has any small toys that she absolutely loves you should bring that to keep her entertained. Some doctors will allow you to give the child benadryl to help them stay calm or asleep on flights, but I personally don’t think it is necessary, we never had to use it for my son and I don’t like medicating a child if they are not ill.
