How do thunderstorms effect sea life-fish?

I really need this question answered and mostly where you got the information from. I would like to know about sea life but fish imparticularly.

Cyclones can produce significant upwelling beneath them due to Ekman divergence in the water. This upwelling bring nutrients to the surface which can facilitate algae blooms which may support higher trophic levels. Storm systems may also carry and introduce dust particles to the ocean containing nutrients, particularly iron. Significant regions of the Earth’s oceans are iron limited and input of this nutrient again may facilitate the growth of marine organisms. Fresh water is unlikely to be of any benefit to marine organisms; as for pH changes, rainwater is somewhat acidic and becoming more so as atmospheric concentrations of CO2 increase, but the ocean has sufficient alkalinity that there are only very very minor effects from a single storm event. In general small scale phenomena like storms will have little effect on widely mobile and long lived creatures like fish.
