I need help on my Research Paper – Pet Food Safety; the 2007 Pet Food Recalls; Animal Rights?
I need help focusing on my Thesis Statement and how I want to spin it. I’m trying to figure out the arguments here. If you are familiar with this topic please chime in. I need to streamline it. One way I’m spinning it is on accountability and who’s responsible for safety in our pet’s diet. I believe that it is the responsibility off all organizations and also the responsibility of the pet owner’s themselves. This includes the FDA/USDA (increase security. scrutinize current guidelines and take preventative measures), the Mass Media (for delivering accurate information to the General Public in a timely manner/immediately), the Manufacturers (not using reputable Suppliers and for taking action immediately on tainted foods; faster recalls. Last years studies showed sickness and deaths in animals one month before they issued the Recall); Suppliers (The 2007 recalled foods showed tainted wheat gluten from a Supplier from China. Not sure how to spin it); Pet Owners (Awareness, Consciousness)
Ultimately it is by law the Manufacturers responsibility for all of what you stated, even getting media coverage for a recall.
