If you use a Halo Sleep sack (wearable blanket)!!!!?
I have used one since my little one was born. She is 13 months now. I looked into some research on loose blankets and SIDS, and i decided this was the best choice for us. I am just wondering…. to all the other moms who used them, when did you stop using the wearable blanket and start using loose blankets in your childs crib? She is only in a size Medium and i think they go to extra large.. so she can fit in them for at least another year but i dont think i will use them that long… i was just curious as to how long you guys used em! Thanks in advance!
With my daughter I stopped using the sleep-sack shortly after she turned one, but my son is a different story. He is active, kicks alot and smushes his crib bumper down so I am buying him another sleep-sack for my peace of mind. He walks around in the sleep-sack he wears now, so I don’t think walking around should be an issue. He sleeps so well in his sack that I just can’t imagine putting a blanket on him, he would probably have it kicked off soon after he fell asleep and then he’d be up when he got cold or it got wrapped around him.Really, I think it is up to you, what is best for your child?
