Poodle Blanket

i have a toy poodle who has one pup about 2 wks old, mum has stopped lactating so i am bottle feeding?
but every so often the pup just cries and cries for about 1/2 hour, he wont have any more to drink, i wipe him so he poos and wees. he is warm cause he is on a puppy electric blanket. can he just cry cause he wants cuddles or am i missing something? thank you
If he is crying for 1/2 hour, it is likely colic. When he does that..rock him..Yup, just as you would an infant with colic. Sometimes that reduces the colic, and whether it works for the colic or not, the nurturing is important.
Mix a spoon of plain yogurt in his formula, and that may aid his digestion.
I used to have a business raising orphaned pups, and I put yogurt in the formula to avoid the colic.
