How can I make a rat playpen?
I dont have a lot of room for my ratties and i was wondering what i could use to make them a rat playpen?

I tried to make a rat play pen, but alas, they refuse to stay within its confines and can scale a 2 1/2 foot wall. I kept them on the bed or couch for a while, but they grew very brave and jumped down. Now I just let them run around the living room with their cage door open. They do their business on the floor at first, but after a week or so they learn to go back into the cage to do that. Be sure all of the wires are off of the ground. Anything you don’t want to be chewed must be put out of their reach, and duct tape is very effective at keeping them from gnawing.
