Pregnant Mommies.. what are you doing for Christmas? Traditions?
I am almost 19 weeks pregnant and just wandering what you other pregnant Mommies are doing for Christmas and what your traditions are? What are you making for dinner?
On xmas eve my husband’s side is comming over for chicken. It is their tradition, and the men of the family go and pick it up while the women stay at home and get the table set, ect. We are then going to midnight mass and my sister is comming over to stay the night. Christmas morning my husband and i wake up early and open gifts and then my side comes over for brunch and gifts. I am making delicious oven french toast an egg casserole and croissants and get to suprise the family with the gender of the baby!! Hopefully!! Later in the afternoon we are going to my mother in law’s house for a big family christmas celebration and really fun gift exchange. I am making the sweet potatoes and stuffing, and dip and pinwheel appitizers for over there.
I just love Christmas time!!! Happy Holidays to all of you! 
we go to my moms side of the family on christmas eve. and always eat enchiladas and tamales.
then
my family’s tradition is santa clause christmas morning, and my mom always cooks sausage balls, bacon and crosant pin wheels, and hot chocolate!
then off to my dads side of the family for lunch and christmas there, then back to my parents for christmas gifts there….and we all open our gifts separate one at a time while everyone is watching (well, this year its a little different considering there are 8 grand kids, lol)
and usually around the 23rd we have our family christmas dinner, usually consiting of green been casarole, ham, cheesy potatos, rolls, and dessert. and you cant forget the welches sparkling grape juice, lol (my family dosent drink) and all open an ornament from my parents, and my mom opens her gift (usually a snow globe) from my dad, sisters, and me.
now that im married, we are going to my husbands family’s before my aunts house, and also going on christmas eve.
i love all our traditions, but this year we are kinda waiting to see how it goes cause my sister was due yesterday, and shes not showing any signs of labor, lol, and my other sister is 37 weeks with twins and is scheduled for a c section on the 28th, but we are betting both of them go into labor on christmas day!!
every year is harder and harder to keep traditions, cause we have gone from a family of 5, to all of us being married, pregnant, and 8 current kids…lol
