Safest, best infant carseat?
What’s your opinion?
I’ve been checking out these:
Peg Perego’s Primo Viaggio SIP
Maxi Cosi Mico
Chicco Keyfit 30
All 3 are big & heavy. The Keyfit is best in SUVs/larger sedans. The PV is heavy and smaller (baby may outgrow it quicker). The Mico is large and difficult to carry.
But they are all better than anything Graco or Evenflo puts out. I don’t trust anything made by either of those companies. Oh and don’t let Consumer Reports guide you – they get paid by certain brands/companies to rate their product better than others.
Buy all 3, try them in your car, with your baby, then return the ones you don’t like.
