Any ideas on getting my daughter off the boob and to a bottle?
Anyone have any ideas on how ween my daughter off nursing?Any creative ways on how to get her on a bottle… I have been trying and trying but she just cries and screams… she dosnt want anything to do with the bottle… I dont know what to do… at first I was just trying to nurse her before bed and then once in the afternoon and then give her a bottle the rest of the day but it isnt working she just refusses to take the bottle… any advice?
Can you get Dad or anyone else involved? I know my daughter could smell me if I was anywhere close. I would express into a bottle, then leave and go sit on the porch while anyone else fed her… I also started making sure I used soap that wasn’t my usual.. like Zest so that I had an almost overwhelming odor that she didn’t associate with me (and made sure to wash my breasts before any feedings). If you have to wean now, I would suggest expressing alot, then going shopping for the day and leave her with someone… she’ll get hungry enough to “break” her.
