How To Choose A Kids Indoor Sleeping Bag

Summer is just around the corner. Now is the time to research summer camps for your children or a daycare for your child while you have to go to work. Most of the kids summer camps are at sites were the kids stay in a cabin or in a sheltered area. Kids love to pack up all their supplies, clothes and special items to take with them for a long stay at summer camp, away from mom and dad. What better item to take to summer camp than a customized indoor kid’s sleeping bag? 

Kid’s indoor sleeping bags come in many sizes, shapes, colors and options. A Toddler indoor bag is for the youngest of our children, ranging from 1 yr to 2 yrs. Toddler Sleeping Bags measures 22″ x 36″ and usually includes a sewn in pillow. The sleeping bag itself folds into an 18″ x 20″ toss pillow. The next size up would be for a child, ages ranging from 2-10, depending on how tall they are. These indoor child Size Sleeping Bags usually measure around 29″ x 56″ and sometimes includes a sewn in pillow and a built in pouch with carry handle. The Childrens sleeping bags open into a 56″ x 56″ comforter. Next on the size chart are the largest of the kids sleeping bags and they come in Teen Size. These teen indoor sleeping bags measure 31″ x 75″ and include a sewn in pillow and a built in pouch with carry handle. The teen sleeping bag opens into a 62″ x 75″ comforter. You can choose between two types of interior fabric upgrades on our sleeping bags. First would be flannel, which is like sleeping in flannel sheets. The flannel comes in about 5 different coordinating colors and you can customize which color you would like. It is warmer than the broadcloth, which is standard, but not too warm for the warmer climates. The cozy, plush upgrade would be our Minky Dot Micro Fiber selections. The minky dot fabric is the king of them all. It is much heavier than the flannel and plush and soft like no other. I would suggest this fabric for kids that want to me warm and snug all night long.

I can say for special features, personalizing the child’s sleeping bag does add a touch of excitement when the child sees it for the first time. The monogram and personalization is done on the pouch, so the child can see it when they are lying down. Then when they roll the sleeping bag into the pouch the name shows up on the outside of the pouch. Choose from 4 different font and 10 different thread colors for your child’s name or monogram.
