Lock Child

How do you child lock the door of a miele 3204 washing machine?
Go the miele 3204 washing machine yesterday and found that you can open the door during a cycle which is not great with a 20 month running around.
Is there any way of setting the door so its child proof, cant find any info in the manual!
I have read the safety info you posted but if there is no child lock then i think that is a bad design fault
It could be there is no child proof lock on your machine. I have a Bosch which doesn’t have one either.
There are many products you can buy to do the job yourself. DIY stores should sell them.
I personally don’t believe its a bad design fault as its the individuals duty to safeguard their own children.
