How long is the belt for a ’97 dodge dakota 3.7L with bypassing the A/C?
I went to my only local car parts store and even though the diagram next to the latch hole says I can bypass the A/C (which caused the belt to break in the first place) the store doesn’t show an belt made for doing that. We are guessing on how long the belt needs to be, but I wondered if anyone knew where to find the specific length for a belt bypassing it?
P.S. That A/C hasn’t worked in years and have no interest in shelling out to replace.

Use a string and route around pulleys that will be in use, of course you have to allow a little for the tensioner, then measure string. This will give you an idea.
Factory engine size for ’97 model is 3.9 liters not 3.7.
