When did your parents sit down and tell you about sex?
Did a parent tell you, a sibling, find out from your friends, etc? How old were you when you figured out it wasn’t god, the stork, a special kiss, (insert any lie from an uncomfortable parent) etc? How old were your kids when you told them the real facts?

Gabby: I meant god as in the Mary Immaculate conception way. The holy spirit is not generally going around impregnating virgins.
My mom never did. When I was about 15 she found my birth control, asked where I got it, and that was the end of the first and only sex talk we ever had. My education came from friends, who were more clueless than me. I’m doing things differently with my kids. I’ve already began answering their questions with age appropriate answers. I don’t plan to ignore the subject, nor do I intend to turn it into a fairytale about birds, bees, storks, and other woodland creatures. Sex is sex, that’s how I intend to teach my kids.
