How many irresponsible parents are going to leave your kids in the hot car this summer??
It happens every year without fail. Some irresponsible parent will leave their child or children out in the hot car while they go where ever to run an errund. This is absolute madness. Not only is this torture for the child to sit in the hot car for any amount of time, but it is also extremely dangerous because who knows what kind of predators are looking to snatch your kids.
I asked this question in the winter and a couple of women admitted to leaving their kids in the car with it running if they were just going into a gas station. One woman even said that it was too much of an inconvience to drag 3 kids in and out of a car at every stop. If its that much of an inconvience then why not leave them at home??
I take mine in with me, I also choose gas stations that have the pay area outside. I go to the post office when they are empty so I can take them in with me. Plus I dont go out much during the hottest part of teh day because it is just too dangerous. I live in Houston Tx and it gets HOT here. I love the idea of postign that question here . It reminds people of how dangerous it is.
I saw a lady who buckled her 4 year old in the car LOCKED it. he was in a 5 point harness car seat so he cant get out. Then handed him FOOD and left to run in and get him food. He could have choked!
