Why was I born with skin darker than my parents skin?
I’m part Indian therefor I have very tan skin. I also have dark eyes but I’m not concerned about that part. Now what’s very weird is my mom and dad both have skin wayyyyy lighter than mine. My dad has no tan skin at all, just like Edward from Twilight lol. And my mom has tan skin but it’s extremely light. I was born with dark tan skin. I’m just wondering, how can I be born darker than both my parents?
It’s a combination of dominant and recessive genes. One or more of your grandparents has dark skin.
