Ice Pack

Is it alright to fall asleep on an ice pack on my lower back?
I’m 30 weeks pregnant and I was told to get rid of lower back pain to try Icing it.
Every night I do this. But I always end up falling asleep.
SO my question is , Is it bad to fall asleep on an ice pack?
not only can you upset the skin tissues but also make changes in the deeper tissues;; could actually CAUSE a back injury;; your back pain, I’m assuming since your pregnant, is not caused by a back injury, so why are you icing it?? your back pain is caused by the pressure applied to your spine d/t your baby or the shifting around of your inner organs to accomodate your baby;; not much you can do;; I KNOW I wouldn’t be icing…Ice packs are also suppose to be put on for 15-20 minutes only or it can cause tissue disruption;; so even sleeping on it is a big no-no!!
