How do i make a camo colored cake?

my son is really into army camo and his b day is saturday and he wants a camo cake. Any tips or ideas on the actual cake being camo colored, the frosting I think i have figured out but unsure on the cake itself. I thought of green, black and tan and dark brownish back cake mies and swirling it together in the cake pan but im not sure if that will work. Please let me know and ty.

If you use all of those cake mixes, you’ll have a HUGE cake! Why not get a white cake mix and divide the mixed batter into 4 bowls. Add a few drops of green, 1 drop of yellow and a small squirt of chocolate syrup to one (for Army green); add cocoa powder and chocolate syrup to another for brown – and less of each for tan. To get black, go to Michael’s, Hobby Lobby or JoAnn’s and get some paste food coloring, which comes in black. In fact, they’ll have all 4 colors that you need! You can’t mix other colors together to get black …. Then drop the different colors by big spoonfuls into a bundt or 9×13″ pan. Don’t swirl with a knife, because that will “marbelize” it, and you want large blotches, not swirls of color.
