Easy Ups

What size diaper does your toddler wear? And night? Is pullups better than easy ups?
My son is 23 months and he wears a 4t during the day and night. He´s 28 lbs now. He wears pull ups. I dont know if easyups is better than pull ups. I´m thinking about start his potty training.
I think pullups are better than easyups for the single reason that they have velcro sides that are easy to undo and redo (easyups and any of the generics I’ve tried are one fused piece that needs to be raised and lowered like a regular pair of undies or ripped down the side to remove).
The velcro sides are good for parents who need to change a child while standing (say a public restroom that doesn’t have a changing table etc.) as you don’t have to take pants/tights/whatever off to do the change. They are also good if you’re using pullups whilst potty training as it’s easier for a child to just pull down a side then slip off a pullup. But, I honestly don’t know anyone who uses pullups or easyups as a real part of potty training. Perhaps, they’ll revert to pullups for overnight or if they have to go somewhere and know they won’t be able to do a potty break, but everyone I know just uses real undies while potty training. As for us, I switched to pullups for both my kids when they hit 14-16 months and decided they did not like laying down to have their diapers changed. I just find them easier than diapers.
ETA: As for size, my daughter is 23 lbs and in a size 3t-4t pullup or a 5 easyup.
