Generic drool pads for straps of Ergo baby carrier?
I know that Ergo sells “sucking pads”, but when your baby soaks through half a dozen bibs a day, let’s face it – those would be mighty expensive. Since there are many other baby carriers with similar straps, I’m wondering if there’s a more pocket-friendly alternative. My searches are coming up empty.
I just own one set of the sucking pads and she’s never soaked through them at all. I’ve never seen a generic version, but it would be super easy to make–just cut up an old towel and get some of those velcro stickers. The Ergo Baby sucking pads are basically just terry cloth that wraps around the straps.
