Buying baby clothes?
How soon did you start buying baby clothes?
I got super excited after our ultrasound and bought just 3 adorable pink outfits. Then today my husband and I found a 50% off Carters sale and we had a gift card to the department store, so we bought some. BUT my MIL got so mad at me! She was like, “People are going to give you clothes, you SHOULD not be buying any.” We didn’t buy a years worth of clothes, just things that made us excited.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Some added thoughts:
I am 19 weeks pregnant with a baby girl 
Also, everything I have bought has been either 6M or 9M for later, so that is good that people suggest that!
Not to worry… I would buy clothes too, and the clothes people are going to buy you may not be your taste.. part of the fun is picking out some clothes yourself.. she was probably just thinking you should save your money.. not to worry… MIL’s always have an opinion…..
just shrug it off and tell her.. OH well…
