Baby registry? What did you register for?
I’m having my first baby, a baby girl, in August. I finally went to register and went to Burlington Coat Factory’s Baby Depot (LOTS of stuff!!)
I registered for a stroller/carseat, Pack and Play, bassinet, highchair, a bath.
What are some things I should register for? I already have the bedroom furniture…..
I don’t want to be greedy, but I feel like it’s just not enough!
I missed a lot on my list, sorry! I also registered for:
-Crib bedding
-Extra crib sheets
-Baby Bjorn
-Diaper Genie
-Diaper bags
-Monitors
-Bouncy chair
-Boppy (for breastfeeding)
-Forehead thermometor and healthcare kit
It sounds like you are on the right track. You want to give your guests a fair amount of options in different price ranges. You want to add what you will need and want for the baby. Car seats, strollers, diapers, onsies, baby medicines like baby tylenol or gas medicine…Everything from furnishings, to clothing, and more.
Make sure it is all things you need and that there are cheaper, smaller things for people who don’t have a lot of money, and things you need that may be pricier too. A lot of people pick the pricier thing and go in on it with friends or family.
It really sounds like you have covered your bases with the registry so far.If you plan to breast feed then add a breast pump. If you plan to formula feed and know which formula you intend to use(most hospitals get you started with Enfamil plus Iron) you could add that to your registry.. Also, don’t forget baby bottles. Clothing for the baby is good. You can even add infant toys.
