Britax marathon users-how long until your child outgrew this seat?
My 2 1/2 year old currently has a marathon, and I am trying to decide if it is worth buying another one for our second car, or upgrading to the britax regent. She is already about 39 inches tall, 33 pounds and her harness slat is the second from the top on her marathon. Can anyone tell me about what age their children outgrew this seat, or give me any opinions on which carseat to buy next? I just don’t want to buy another marathon if she’s going to outgrow it by next year. I also don’t want to buy her the regent if she really doesn’ t need it. Thanks!
What is your daughter’s torso height? The top straps on the marathon are 17 inches (which is the same as the Decathlon and Boulevard). So, her torso height would have to exceed 17 inches and her ears reach the top of the shell. Most children last in the Marathon until 5 yrs old. The Regent has top slots of 20 inches.

Evenflo Triumph Advance
Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe (this is the same shell as a Marathon. The Marathon covers even fit on this seat).
Sunshine Kids Radian 65 or 80 (they actually have top slots of 18 inches).
I would wait until she is older to buy a Regent. The seats are only good for 6 years and the Regent would expire before she outgrew it.
