More Mandy! Boutique, my store!?
I’ve just brought a small boutique on the corner of town and it’s so cute! I’ve painted it powder pink and white, and have invested in lots of pink and white furniture. It looks fantastic, and the new vintage style clothes, gloves and umbrella’s are on their way! It looks beautiful.
Just a few questions…
1. Interview questions for new employees?
2. How to act towards customers?
3. Should I open a personal shopper option?
4. Should I give out promotional leaflets?
1. ask them why they think they are a suitable candidate for your business & what they feel they have to offer.
2. just relax & let people browse..they will approach you if they need help…nothing worse than someone in your face…puts me off of shopping.
3. no..people make their own decisions..personal shopper makes it sound expensive…although a sign saying it is available wouldn’t hurt.
4. it can do no harm to do leaflets..if you can afford it.

p.s. contact your local free press when you are opening…might pay off to get them along…perhaps offer champagne or wine to customers on the 1st day of trading – the local press will love that!!
