how can i apply my own design to my shortboard’s surface?

i want to put my own drawing or artwork on my shortboard. What would i need to be able to do this? sharpies? special paints? i dont want to do a full decal of it, just like a mural on the bottom or something. What works best for this?

Use the WaterBased Opace paint pen ones. you can put them on foam or glass. regular sharpies will bleed, foamez.com carries the right ones.

Make sure its a smooth surface or it will bleed under the tape.
