Best Friend

How can I become her best friend without undermining her best friend?
She has a best friend and I don’t want to ruin it but she’s the best friend that I’ve ever had and I really want to be as important to her a’s she is to me. I know that that sounds bi but I’m straight and we both have great bfs.
At any rate, when something happens, she’s the first one I tell and what she says makes me feel better no matter what and I want it to be the same for her with me. You know?
If it don’t work out…I’m actually filling the position for “Best Friend” right now…it’s been open for 3 years btw…ahahahha
