When should i set up the crib bedding?
I am 30 weeks pregnant. We just setup the crib but do not want to wash the bedding and put it on too early before the baby comes. I don’t want the fabric to collect dust and have to wash it again. When would be a good time to wash it and be able to set it up considering i have a history of delivering my babies about 1 month early?
Wash it about 2 weeks before your due date, just in case (I gave birth two weeks early with my first baby. Dry, fold and put in the airing cupboard (or any cupboard where you usually keep bed sheets) until you bring baby home from the hospital. You can put the sheets on the baby’s mattress the day you come home from the hospital. Baby won’t use a comforter or pillow until he/she is older. You will swaddle the baby in blankets when sleeping.
