How to Make Diaper Cake

How to Make Diaper Cakes of Different Shapes?

Diaper Cake 1:
The first tier consists of diapers that are unfolded, wrapped around a baby bottle one after the other secured using a rubber band. The second tier is also similar, but is of a smaller size than the first tier. Same process goes with the third tier.

Diaper Cake 2:
Roll the diapers and make them stand around a baby bottle, so that they form a circle. Form another circle close to the first one in a similar fashion. Continue forming circles until the first tier turns into desirable size. Repeat these steps for second and third tiers, keeping them smaller than the initial tier.

Use colorful ribbons to pack these tiers and to hide rubber bands and tapes. One can place baby items in these ribbons or can decorate them with flowers.

How to Make Diaper Cakes with Specific Themes?

One may select diaper cake 1 or 2 and use the following additional tips for making the diaper cake girl-specific or boy-specific.

Diaper Cake for Girls:
Diaper cakes for girls appear more elegant and delicate. These have more instances of pink color such as pink ribbons, flowers or bibs. However, placing all items in pink can ruin the entire show of a diaper cake. Some popular girl themes are Hello Kitty, Princess, Angel, Winnie the Pooh, Teddy Bears and Lady Bugs.

Diaper Cake for Boys:
Most of the diaper cakes for boys appear sporty or tomboyish.  These include Bob the Builder, Golf, Jungle, Frogs and Cowboy.
