How to set Dell AIO A920 scanner/printer to scan in jpg format?
Trying to help a friend who can’t figure this out. When she scans a photo it is saved to the computer in RTF and when she emails it, it is on a MS Word doc. She can’t figure out how to change the setting on the scanner to save the image on her computer in JPG. Could anyone familiar with this set up please give me step by step directions I could send her?
Right now she is sending photos that no one can print because they are inbedded in a Word Doc.
Sorry to ask more questions, but I have an HP scanner and I looked over the instructions for the Dell and couldn’t make heads or tails from the little graphic they included of the little screen boxes.
Does she have to choose the “save as” option with each scan? Could you tell me where she can find the save as option (what will be on the screen)?
The scanner/printer does not set the format. You do that when you save it. Check the drop down in “save as”.
